A few months later, however, he wanted to pursue acting more seriously, and at the urging of his agency he moved to Los Angeles, CA. After working in low budget film and television, Wilkins took a break from acting, moved to New Braunfels, TX, and worked in a plant nursery as a horticulturist. Wilkins eventually returned to acting; he wrote, produced, and starred in his own short film, Tuesday.
