She studied acting at the EMA Higher Drama School (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre), graduating in 1998. Among her graduating classmates were actors Hilje Murel, Jan Uuspõld, Tiit Sukk, Veikko Täär, Liina Vahtrik, and Andero Ermel.
