'A Cup of Sugar' is a heart tugging drama about an immigrant who is rejected and ridiculed by his boring and colorless neighbors in a middle-class conservative suburban Irish housing estate. Denis portrayed Frank McCann, an Irish murderer who burned his own home to kill his wife and niece in the Irish language TV production, 'Fir, Marú agus Grá' (translation: Men, Murder and Love). Denis played a murder victim in Myles Linehan's 'Smile' in 2016. Denis starred as the comical villain in two features from Brendan Hayes, Haze Productions, 'Macra Girl', 2016 and 'Inlaws & Outlaws', 2018.
