Growing up in Orlando with a love for filmmaking, LoMonaco started making short films and writing as early as her middle school years. Always yearning to act, LoMonaco finally got the chance when she joined a theater troupe at her local high school, being the only freshmen in her school invited to the Florida State Thespian Festival to compete. In her sophomore year she attended another competition, not only as a thespian but also competing as a playwright for her first full length script, receiving medals for both.
