Bio:Yiannis Fertis (Athens, April 21, 1938 - April 14, 2024) was a Greek theater, film and television actor. Protagonist from the 1960s to 2019, in classical and contemporary plays, prose and ancient drama. In cinema, he starred in more than 30 films. In 2008, he won the Best Actor Award at the Thessaloniki Festival for his performance in the film Slaves in Their Chains directed by Toni Lykouresi.
