He worked at a skateboard shop and attended Santa Monica High School; he currently resides at Venice Beach, California.[citation needed] Hutch is the son of actor Rick Dano; his paternal grandfather was actor Royal Dano and his maternal great-grandparents were screenwriter/director J.
