He began his career in cinema when director Barakat assigned him an important role in the film The Little Millionairess in 1948. In 1950, he traveled to Italy for six months hoping to appear in Italian films, but he was not successful there. Among his most important films are: (A Woman on the Road), The Road, The Road of Hope, The Second Man, Struggle on the Nile, There Is a Man in Our House, and Wife No. 13).
